Accessibility

Our aim

We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, and we build it with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines in mind. This statement is part of a design template and would be kept current on a live site.

What we do

The site is built with clear landmarks, a skip link to the main content, headings in order, and labels on every form field. Colour contrast is checked against the AA standard, and a visible focus outline follows the keyboard.

Images carry descriptive text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers so they do not add noise.

Motion

Animations are gentle and never essential to understanding the page. If your device asks for reduced motion, the site honours that and presents the content calmly and still.
