A small rose room, and a whole region to love.
Le Langhe
the hazelnut hills around Alba, home of the white truffle and the great slow reds
Cook the Langhe with tenderness. Let the truffle, the hazelnut and the slow red wines speak, and frame them in a room made for falling a little in love.
Piazza Duomo grew up in the heart of Alba, in a small dining room painted the colour of dawn. We wanted a table where two people could lose an evening to the hills, where every plate carried the scent of the season and the patience of the cellar. The room is rose and gold, the cooking is Piedmontese to the bone, and the night is yours to keep.
The dining room, set for the evening
We built the room first, then learned to deserve it.
The season decides
We let the calendar of the hills write the menu, from spring borage to the white truffle of late autumn.
Close to the growers
Our truffle, hazelnut, beef and wine come from people we know by name, often from within sight of the dining room.
A room to linger in
Soft light, slow service and a table that is yours for the whole evening. We never hurry a good night along.
Bianca Soletti grew up between an Alba market stall and her grandmother's autumn kitchen, where the first white truffle of the year was treated like a small miracle.
After seasons spent in the great rooms of Turin and Paris, she came home to the Langhe to cook the food she loves best, plates that taste of these hills and of the people who tend them. She keeps the dining room warm, the lighting low, and the pace unhurried, because a meal here is meant to be remembered for years.

Chef and PatronA slow path to a table worth crossing Italy for.
Bianca opens a small rose painted room just off the cathedral square in Alba.
The first frescoes are painted across the dining room walls, and the name takes hold.
A dedicated cellar of Barolo and Barbaresco is dug beneath the building.
A quiet pilgrimage for those who come to the Langhe to fall in love with the season.
The hands that keep the evening warm.
