Painted the colour of dawn
Soft rose walls and old frescoes hold the candlelight low, so the room glows the way the Langhe does just after sunrise.
Romantic Piedmontese cooking in a pink fresco room, where truffle and slow red wine keep their own gentle hours.
Long before the menu, there was the room. A small rose painted dining room off the cathedral square, lit low and warm, where an ordinary Tuesday could turn into an evening you keep for years.
The dining room, after dark
Soft rose walls and old frescoes hold the candlelight low, so the room glows the way the Langhe does just after sunrise.
Slim gold lines trace the panels and the doorways, a quiet thread of warmth that ties the whole evening together.
Tables sit a little apart, close enough for a shared bottle of Barolo and far enough for a conversation that is only yours.
We cook the Langhe like a love letter.
Cook the Langhe with tenderness. Let the truffle, the hazelnut and the slow red wines speak, and frame them in a room made for falling a little in love.
Piazza Duomo grew up in the heart of Alba, in a small dining room painted the colour of dawn. We wanted a table where two people could lose an evening to the hills, where every plate carried the scent of the season and the patience of the cellar. The room is rose and gold, the cooking is Piedmontese to the bone, and the night is yours to keep.
Three things we love about this season.
From the rose room to the foggy hills.
A pink room above Alba where the Langhe is served like a love song, course after unhurried course.
A table is kept by candlelight, whenever you are ready for the hills.
